About Midas Studis Limited Midas Studies has been formed by Richard Pike, and Martyn Ellison. Jointly they bring over 50 years financial services experience to the new company. They are both experienced practitioners in the prime and sub-prime markets and act fully independently of lenders, outsourcers and software suppliers to provide the industry with relevant, impartial information and feedback. Martyn Ellison Martyn is currently Managing Director at OnTrack Consulting, with previous roles held at Vertex Financial Services and Marlborough Stirling and has been involved with systems implementations at over 20 lenders in both the UK and North America.

Richard Pike Richard Pike is a highly respected figure in Financial Services having worked in the industry for over 22 years. His career started at Royal Bank of Scotland after which he moved to Mortgage Systems in Fleet (now HML) where he learnt all aspects of mortgage operations and outsourcing. In 1992 he joined C&G and aged 24 became C&G's youngest Branch Manager. After six successful years in branches he was tasked with centralising all branch based arrears into a state-of-the-art call centre in Gloucestershire, a facility he successfully managed until 2000 when he joined the software provider Marlbough Stirling plc (now Vertex) where he worked for two years. In his time there he was on the project team that set up Marlborough Stirling's mortgage outsourcing business. After a brief spell with regulatory specialist Huntswood, he started his own consultancy business 'IBC' which is widely regarded as the leading independent suppliers of consulting services to the UK Financial Services industry. Since launch, IBC has carried out assignments in Europe, North America and the Middle East. Lender clients have included Santander, Lehmans, Kensington, Edeus, Swift and GMAC RFC, with work also carried out for Vertex, Phoebus Software, BancTec, White Clarke Group and Excel Counselling Services.
